Supporting Children and Young People
How we Help
We can work with you to find the right solutions to enable and empower your child/young person facing challenges caused by disability. Everything we offer is free of charge, we are not here to make a profit, simply to make life better through the use of assistive technology. We rely on grants and currently an inheritance to fund our work. Every penny we receive goes straight into the business.
Experience
We have over 20 years' experience of working with children and young people experiencing a wide range of disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Dysarthric Speech, ASD, Dyslexia and Prader Willi Syndrome. This is not an exhaustive list but provides an indication of those we have worked with.
Main Aims
We aim to help remove the barriers that impact on children and young people's abilities to engage with friends and family and fulfil their educational potential. Our approach involves using high and low technological solutions for communication, software solutions as well as adapting environmental factors to enable children and young people to transform their lives.
Current Projects
We are currently focusing on engaging with local communities in Tamworth and Lichfield. We need to ensure local schools and families know that we are here to help and advise. We would welcome local support with this, if you would be interested in getting involved, please contact us.
